Sultangazi Olimpik Spor Kulübü DerneÄŸi which is an NGO working in the fields of education, sport, art, culture, music, dance, nature and environment in Istanbul, Turkey. The Association was established in 2013 and has more than 650 members. We want to include young people in social life and make them have sports as their life style. Our NGO is in Sultangazi where the young people are in the risk of different illegal groups, alcohol and drugs. The aim of establishing this NGO was to prevent these young people from these risks involving them in different social, cultural,
sport, artistic and enviromental activities and include them in social life by the help of these activities. There are 65 schools in our region and more than 50.000 students, we cooperate with all these schools for different activities and organisations. We are a young and ambitious group of teachers who are the founders of this NGO and we are ready to learn and share experiences. We would love to improve ourselves mainly based on inclusion, creativity, culture, art, nature and environmental awareness, intercultural dialogue, joy, European awareness, research, democracy, active participation, tolerance, inclusion, information, informal education and voluntariness. We believe that international experience, cultural interaction and exchange of experiences are some of the most important and most effective drivers for personal development and they significantly broadens the horizons of young people and open up a wider view of their own, the state and the future.
